What Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways:

Information you give us directly: When you fill in our quote or contact form, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, Eircode or town, and details about your roofing project or enquiry.

Technical data collected automatically: When you visit this website, our hosting provider may record basic technical information such as your browser type, device type and which pages you visited. This is used only for website operation and security.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry or request for a quote
• Prepare and send you a quote for roofing work
• Carry out roofing or repair work you have asked us to do
• Follow up on an open enquiry if we have not heard back from you

Lawful basis: We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you voluntarily submit a form) and in taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with us, in line with Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

We will never use your details to send unsolicited marketing material.

How Form Submissions Are Handled

This website is hosted by Netlify. When you submit a contact or quote form, your submission is processed and stored by Netlify before being forwarded to us. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and carry out the work you have requested.

Cookies

This website currently uses essential cookies only — cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function. We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, Google Ads tracking or social media pixels.

Essential cookies do not require your consent under Irish and EU law. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work as expected if you do.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep enquiry and quote records for as long as is necessary to respond to your request and carry out any agreed work. If no contract follows from an enquiry, we will not retain your details beyond what is reasonably needed to follow up.

Where work is carried out, we may retain relevant records for up to six years for the purposes of resolving any disputes or complying with legal obligations.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: You can ask us to delete your data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it.
• Objection: You can object to how we are using your data.
• Withdraw consent: Where we are relying on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@roofrepairslimerick.ie or call 061 788 373.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie.
